Reverend Horace Dozier was born January 11, 1956 and received his early education in Immokalee, FL. Immediately after high school, Horace attended Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL graduating with a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting. Since that time God has blessed him with a lovely wife, Yvonne Dozier of Laurinburg, North Carolina and eight children. On August 8, 1999 he was ordained as a Deacon at St. Matthew M.B. Church. God later moved him to Tallahassee and Quincy Fl. where he worked and served the Lord diligently. As God continued to move in his life, he was called into the ministry and license to preach.  On May 24, 2003 Rev. Dozier was ordained, He served as Associate Minister at Bear Creek Bethel MBC. He also served as Chief Evangelist in the Pine Bloom MB Association in Quincy Florida. In January 2006 he was called to pastor New Macedonia MB Church where he labored for two years and served as Vice Chairman, Sunday School Convention. In 2006 He founded New Canaan MBC in Havana, Fl. and served as the Senior Pastor until September 2014. The Lord moved him to Baltimore Md. Where he joined Emmaus MBC and served as Associate Minister until April 2018.  The Lord allowed Rev. Dozier to move back home by allowing his job to transfer him back to South Florida.  He has over 40 years of Executive experience in State and Federal government with a background in Medicare, Medicaid operations. He currently serves as Director for the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services in the Division of Field Operations South, located in Miami Lakes, Fl.  He provides technical guidance on all Medicare and Medicaid program integrity enforcement activities. This includes providing for the oversight of fraud and abuse detection and deterrence activities for the Medicare and Medicaid Program nationwide.  He is a charter member of the Belle Glade Pahokee alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He earned his MBA at Nova S.E. University School of Business and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry at Liberty University School of Divinity.  Pastor Horace Dozier was called to Pastor St. Matthew MBC July 1, 2019.
